I’m now at the stage of life when I have concluded that walking for me is ponderously slow, running is too hard, but cycling suits me just fine and addressees the call of adventure.
It’s been said that nothing can destroy iron but its own rust. Likewise, nothing can destroy you except an idle and incurious mind.
After all, if one rests, one rusts.
While riding, I’ve met and said hello to an assortment of strollers, hikers, and fellow trikers…but not many squash players. ☺️
And just the other day, I ran into a neighbor who owns a parked camper van that I pass by on occasion.
I finally met the owner, got to talking and boy, was I impressed! Turns out that Pat is also a triker and as soon as she recovers from her recent riding accident, we’ll go triking together. That day can’t come soon enough!
