Our old friend, Kevin Jernigan in the news!

MORE Hardball Singles Squash!!!

By Tefft W. Smith

This past weekend  in Boston,we had the well-attended, hard fought throughout, Century Doubles Tournament, with a Hardball Singles tournament on Sunday, played on the nearby wide courts at the University Club, with the new Dunlop Black Dot Hardball for the Wide Courts.  The tournament drew a large group of quickly converted (or renewed) Hardball singles enthusiasts, with many more trying out (or taking the FREE new ball for later experimentation, as 3 boxes of 12 evaporated).

Scott Harrison of in 4 in the Finals Richmond, Virginia overcame Kevin Jernigan in a 5 game thriller in the semis, going on to beat Robair Reichenstein in 4 in the Finals.  GREAT Fun for the players and many intrigued and interested spectators, as the matches were played next to the Doubles Show Court.   A number of Doubles players warmed up with the new ball before entering their Doubles matches.  That is the point!! Hardball Singles and Doubles Squash are GREAT Games!! And GREAT Fun!! They are REINFORCING!!
